Message from Kieran - Exploring Scotland

Castle Campbell, located in Dollar, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, was the seat of the earls and dukes of Argyll from the 15th to the 19th century. Mary, Queen of Scots, even visited and was impressed by it, saying "this reminds me of home." Originally known as Castle Gloom, it was renamed Castle Campbell in the 15th century. The castle has a rich history, including hosting religious reformer John Knox and being burned during conflicts in the 17th century. Today, it is managed by Historic Scotland as a scheduled ancient monument, offering visitors a glimpse into its fascinating past.
