The Chatelherault Nature Loop hike is a 4.9-mile trail in Clyde Valley Woodlands National Nature Reserve, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It's a moderately challenging route that takes about 2 hours to complete on average. The trail starts at the Chatelherault Visitor Centre by Chatelherault House, an 18th-century hunting lodge. Hikers follow the Riccarton Path and Green Bridge Path, passing by the ruins of Cadzow Castle along the way. The loop offers beautiful woodland and riverside scenery, with some muddy sections and undulating paths. Keep an eye out for deer and birdlife while enjoying this peaceful and scenic walk.
