Gullfoss, also known as the Golden Falls, is a majestic waterfall located in the canyon of the Hvítá River in southwest Iceland. It's one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland and part of the famous Golden Circle tourist route. The Hvítá River plunges in two stages (11 meters and 21 meters) into a crevice 32 meters deep, creating a powerful and awe-inspiring sight.
