🐂 Bison Have the Right of Way

Wildlife jams are part of the Yellowstone experience. Bison, elk, bears, and other animals regularly cross the roads, so be prepared to stop. Stay patient, never honk or try to move animals along, and always keep a safe distance. Sometimes the best wildlife sightings happen when traffic comes to a standstill.
