The place I based myself from in Muscat. It's a small, quiet beachfront guesthouse and a great option if you want to hang around the city for a few days before or after your road trip. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is a nice rooftop terrace, AND they are reasonably priced (by Omani standards, at least - mind you, accommodation here is not cheap!).

It’s also run by the same team behind Active Overlander, which makes it convenient if you’re renting your 4x4 through them.
