Cross The River To Triana

One of Seville’s best neighbourhoods

Seville, Spain

Most first-time visitors spend almost all their time around the Cathedral and Santa Cruz. They’re beautiful areas, but some of our favourite food experiences have been across the river in Triana.

Historically, Triana was home to sailors, ceramic makers and flamenco artists. Today it still feels more local and lived-in than the historic centre.

You’ll find:

  • Mercado de Triana – a must-visit

  • Traditional tapas bars

  • Local bakeries

  • Excellent seafood

  • Great vermouth and wine bars

It’s also a wonderful place to wander without a plan.

Crossing the Isabel II Bridge and spending an afternoon exploring Triana is one of the best things you can do in Seville.
