Use your first day in Victoria to explore the charm of the downtown area. It is so ultra walkable you won’t even need a car.
We’ve listed our favourite downtown spots here but you will see so much more along the way.

Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn even rode a motorcycle down it in Bird on a Wire!
This is a must see in Victoria and a great photo-op!

This is Victoria's iconic landmark and is often referred to as 'The Parliament'. Gorgeous architecture, stunning grounds and views of the Inner Harbour. You can't miss it when you are visiting Victoria!
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is made up of 87 elected officials called Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
Guided tours are offered each day between Monday, May 20 and Monday, September 2, 2024.
Tours are free and last approximately 40 minutes.
No advance bookings are needed for public tours.
