We spent two nights at Capanna Basodino, a rustic and charming mountain hut that’s perfect if you want to start your hikes early. The accommodation is simple, with shared dorm rooms, but it has everything you need for a real alpine experience. Dinner was absolutely delicious—especially the starter, which was my personal highlight: an amazing platter of local cheese and sausage that I’m still dreaming about!
