Rifugio Caldenave is a beautifully located mountain hut where we stayed for one night during our hike. The food was really good and the hike to get there is very scenic. Like in most mountain huts, the rooms are shared dormitory-style.

If you don’t want to stay overnight, you can also just hike up, stop by the hut and return the same day – it works well as a day hike if you start early.
