Palon di Tovre: A Stunning Hike with Plans for More

Palon di Tovre is a fantastic hiking destination with breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomites. To make the journey easier, you can take a gondola partway up, saving your energy for the scenic trails ahead.

We initially planned to hike all the way to Cross dell Altissimo, a spot known for its spectacular panoramic views. Unfortunately, a sudden thunderstorm made it unsafe to continue, and we had to turn back before reaching the summit.

From what we’ve seen in photos, the view from Croz dell’Altissimo is absolutely gigantic, and it’s now at the top of our list for the next visit.
