Gorg d'Abiss Waterfall: nice walk with a beautiful waterfall

The walk to Gorg d'Abiss is more of a leisurely stroll than a strenuous hike, making it suitable for families, couples, and solo travelers of all fitness levels. The path is approximately 1.5 kilometers one way and takes about 20-30 minutes. It meanders along a scenic river, with the sound of flowing water accompanying you. The trail is shaded by trees, making it especially enjoyable on a hot summer day when the cool breeze and the refreshing atmosphere by the river offer a welcome respite.

Good to know: When I visited, the waterfall had only a trickle of water due to dry weather. While still beautiful, the Gorg d'Abiss is most spectacular after periods of rain, when its flow is much more powerful.

Photography Tips: Gorg d'Abiss and its surroundings offer fantastic photo opportunities. For those interested in capturing long-exposure shots of the waterfall, bringing a tripod is essential. To achieve a smooth, silky effect on the water, consider packing ND filters to control the light and a polarizing filter to reduce glare and enhance the natural colors.
