The hotel was built in the 1960s and housed the technicians responsible for the construction of the facilities in Robiei. It was then renovated and opened to the public in the summer months (season June 10th - October 8th).

Located in the Basodino region, the hotel appeals to a diverse and varied clientele: families looking for peace, hikers and people who love contact with nature. If you want to go high, you can climb, for example, to the Cristallina (2589 m) or the Grandinagia pass (2698 m). But experienced alpinists also get their money's worth when climbing the Basodino and the Marchhorn.
