Many people assume the weather is the same across the country, but every region has its own climate. While Cape Town experiences a Mediterranean climate with wet winters and dry summers, places like Durban are warm and humid year-round, and Johannesburg has sunny days with cool evenings thanks to its higher elevation. Always check the forecast for the specific region you’re visiting rather than assuming the weather is the same nationwide.
