Hike

Est. Duration

30-60m

A place that is unforgettable is Skageflå in Geiranger. Here you will hike up to an old mountain farm 250 meters above sea level with a view that is breathtaking. You can get here by boat, and when you look up from the fjord the hike looks almost impossible. It is safe to say it is short and very steep, but it is also secured in the most harsh areas. In Geiranger there are several places where you can book a boat to Skageflå, or you can rent a kayak, but it is quite far if you are unexperienced.

Many choose to get there by boat, so they can hike from the Mountainfarm and back to Gerianger. If you get here by kayak you have to take the same route back down.

The farm has alot of history, and it is hard to believe people actually lived and worked here.
