Gara Gorge Lookout is a wonderful spot for cooling off with a swim on a hot day. Along the Threlfall walking track, you'll find various secluded swimming holes, offering both relaxation and natural beauty. Accessible from the Gara Gorge car park, the trail is easy to reach, although the last 5 kilometers are on an unsealed road. While the full 5.5-kilometer loop trail is enticing, even a short walk reveals smaller plunge pools perfect for a quick dip.
