Peter's Lookout offers that iconic, postcard-perfect view of the winding road leading towards the majestic Aoraki, framed by the impossibly turquoise waters of Lake Pukaki. While the view from the car park is stunning, take the short, easy walk down a winding path to the gravelly lakeshore for a more peaceful experience and a different perspective of the Southern Alps.
