Small scenic pedestrian bridge

If you stop at Maclaren Footbridge, expect a small, rural pedestrian crossing with pleasant river views that make it worth a quick photo or leg stretch rather than a long visit. Access is likely via a short unsealed path or small parking area, there are no facilities, and the bridge is narrow so single-file crossings and dismounting if you have a bike are sensible. It can get slippery after rain and is not suited to vehicles or large groups, so wear sturdy shoes, keep dogs on a lead, and plan to visit in daylight for the best and safest experience.
