Himeji Castle, also known as White Heron Castle, is a stunning and well-preserved feudal castle in Japan. Unlike many other castles, Himeji Castle has never been destroyed by war or natural disasters (one of only 12 original surviving castle’s in the country), making it a must-visit for history buffs and castle enthusiasts.
