Glitregga is a stunning mountain hike that starts in the village of Å on the island of Moskenesøya. It's a moderate 4 km round trip, gaining an elevation of 530 metres total, so it can be pretty challenging. However, it rewards with breathtaking views of the beautiful surrounding islands and fjords. It's relatively easy to find the trail head for Glitregga, just look for the sign in front of the bridge leading around the mountain. Along the path, you'll enjoy crossing marshes and meadows which also offer amazing sights. Watch out for the rocky patches and make sure to wear proper hiking boots! The summit offers a panorama of spectacular beauty - from lakes to mountains, valleys, and seas.
