In his music video “I’ll show you” Justin Bieber visits several sights along the South Coast of Iceland. This is how I got to know about Fjaðrárgljúfur for the first time.

I visited this magical place the first time while I was on a road trip with my friends and I instantly fell in love with this place. I would recommend everyone to take the effort and either drive or hike up all the way to the waterfalls. At the second plateau further inside the country you have the best view on them and the canyon itself. For me it is a magical place and I would say it is a ”must see” around the South Coast of Iceland.
