Helgafell is a volcano cone located on Heimaey, Vestmannaeyjar islands. Helgafell is about 140 meters high and there is a walking path leading up.

It is not as easy to climb Eldfell as the walking path is a real hiking path and I would recommend to wear hiking boots to climb it. It will take you half an hour to reach the top. Here you can enjoy the view over Heimaey and Iceland. You will also be able to see the volcano Eldfell which is recognizable due to its red color.
