Faxafoss is a waterfall located close to the Golden Circle. The waterfall Gullfoss is only approx. 12 kilometers away. Tungufljót river falls in Faxafoss waterfall 7 meters into the deep. This waterfall is very wide which makes it very impressive to look at. But the amount of water is not comparable with the water falling down Gullfoss. I would entitle Faxafoss to be the small brother of Gullfoss.
