The Old Stone House of Brooklyn is a historic house located in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The original Old Stone House from 1699, was reconstructed in 1933. It is the oldest house in Brooklyn and one of the oldest in New York City. The house was originally built by Dutch settlers and served as a tavern and a meeting place for the local community. It was also the site of the Battle of Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War. Today, the house is a museum and a popular tourist attraction. On Sundays you will be able to visit the farmers market. Open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Noon-4 pm
