Squibb Park Bridge connects Brooklyn Heights to Brooklyn Bridge Park. The original bridge that was built here in 2013 does not exist anymore. The bridge was made of timber and was meant to be a little bouncy. After a while the bridge was moving left and right and pedestrian started to get worried. The bridge needed to close and stayed closed for a couple of years. In 2020 the third version of the bridge opened. It's more sturdy now with a steel replacement. The Bridge is connecting Brooklyn Heights with Brooklyn Bridge Park and will give you an amazing view on Manhattan.
