The Swiss Cottage, located near Cahir in Tipperary, is a charming cottage orné built in the early 1800s by the 1st Earl of Glengall. Designed by the famous architect John Nash, it was used for picnics, parties, and as a peaceful retreat. Inside, you'll find a graceful spiral staircase and beautifully decorated rooms. The wallpaper is a mix of original and restored designs from the 1980s, overseen by fashion designer Sybil Connolly. It's a picturesque spot that offers a glimpse into an idyllic country life fantasy.
