Remote island off the coast of dingle renowned for its magnificent beauty, rugged wildness and literary heritage. It was home to a small fishing community of Irish speakers until the island was abandoned in 1953 when living conditions became unsustainable. You will journey back in time to see how the islanders lived. You can get a guided tour around the island for free which last about 45 minutes. The island has rough terrain so you need to be sure footed. You need to bring water and snacks as there is no cafe/restaurants here, There is toilet facilities.
