The Garðar BA 64 is the oldest steel ship in Iceland, and it's seen better days. This old whaling vessel was launched in 1912, around the same time as the Titanic (yikes!). After years of service, it was retired in 1981 and left to rust on a beach in Skápadalur Valley. Now it's a popular spot for photographers and anyone who loves a good mix of Icelandic scenery and industrial decay. It's like a beautiful tribute to times gone by, just slowly falling apart.
