Hallormsstaður National Forest is Iceland's first national forest, protected since 1905. It's a cool spot with birch forests covering about 350 hectares and a variety of tree species from all over the world. You can camp, hike, bike, or just chill among the trees on well-marked trails. There are camping sites, picnic areas, and even an arboretum to explore. Plus, you might catch a glimpse of the Lagarfljót Wyrm monster in the nearby lake. It's a great place to unwind and connect with nature in the land of fire and ice!
