Perched above Echo Lake in Franconia Notch State Park, Artist’s Bluff offers one of New Hampshire’s most iconic autumn foliage views. In the fall, the landscape transforms into a breathtaking canvas of fiery reds, golden yellows, and deep oranges. The trail itself is short—about 1.5 miles round trip—but rewards hikers with panoramic vistas of Cannon Mountain, Echo Lake, and the surrounding White Mountains, all ablaze with vibrant foliage. Many of my best photos from this spot were taken between October 7-14th
