Goa Bangkang Prabu is the most popular bat cave in Lombok. Entry is only allowed with a tour guide, which is included in the ticket price of 60K IDR ($3).

The cave has multiple chambers, stunning natural light, and a variety of wildlife like bats, geckos, and even chickens. Before heading in, you'll be given helmets and boots because the floor is covered in dried bat droppings, and you might even feel drops of pee from the bats above. It may sound gross, but it's an unforgettable experience if you're looking for something truly unique to do in Lombok.

Tip: If you visit around sunset (around 6 PM), you’ll catch the incredible sight of the bats leaving the cave for their nightly hunt.
