Nusa Penida offers one of the best opportunities to see wild manta rays year-round, and at an affordable price. The tour departs from Crystal Bay by boat and takes only 20 minutes to reach Manta Point.

Manta rays, which can grow up to 5 meters in length, are not dangerous, but they are certainly impressive to see in the wild. If you're lucky, you may find the water relatively free of other visitors, providing an even more incredible experience. However, as I experienced firsthand, there may be days when you don't see any mantas. Remember to keep a respectful distance from these magnificent creatures and avoid disturbing their natural habitat by chasing them.
