Kalibiru, also known as the Blue River in Raja Ampat, is a hidden gem nestled in the lush Waisai forest on Waigeo Island. This natural wonder features stunning blue waters that will leave you in awe. You can visit if you're staying in Waisai, but it's also accessible from Mansuar or Kri. At our homestay in Mansuar, you're able to book a tour, which takes about 1.5 hours to get there with different stops. It's best to share the tour as it can be pricey around $220+ for the entire boat. Afterward, you'll hike a few minutes through the jungle, and if you're lucky, you might spot the birds of paradise. Once you reach Kalibiru, you can swim in the river.

The entrance fee is around $10 per person, so make sure to bring cash, and note that your shoes might get wet during the walk.
