If you're looking for authentic local food on Gili Asahan, this is the only warung on the island. It's located in the fishing village, just a few minutes' walk from the island's main hotels. The family running the warung speaks limited English but is incredibly kind. They even treated us to a free dessert called Doko Doko, which was delicious (the green dessert in the picture).

From the warung, you can watch the locals go about their day. It’s a great spot to grab a cheap bite and get a glimpse of life in the Gili Asahan village.
