Bukit Merese is a popular sunset viewpoint in Lombok for both locals and visitors. It offers stunning 360-degree views of cliffs and beaches and is about 15 minutes from the center of Kuta. Entry is free, but parking your scooter will cost 10K IDR ($0.50). I would recommend to visit Tanjung Aan Beach in the day and walk to the sunset point after as they are located next to each other.

Be cautious when bringing snacks or drinks, as there are quite a few monkeys wandering around looking for food.
