For a completely unique experience in Lombok that I hadn’t seen anywhere else, we stumbled upon strawberry picking in Sembalun. It's a perfect activity to combine with the Bukit Selong viewpoint or as part of a tour to North Lombok. For around 50K IDR ($3) plus 3,000 IDR for parking, you get a basket and can pick as many strawberries as you like (but you have to eat them on-site). If you want to take them with you, it costs extra.

This is also a great photo spot, with various setups for pictures and a restaurant upstairs for food or drinks. The surrounding area is fascinating, with fields full of vegetables and fruits. You can also stop by roadside stalls to buy fresh produce at a great price.
