The Alpengarten in Belvedere, Austria is one of the oldest alpine gardens in Europe, boasting a 150-year history. Spanning over 2,500 square meters, it houses more than 4,000 plant species from alpine regions worldwide. Originally curated by Archduke Johann, the garden now focuses on preserving endangered alpine plants. Visitors can explore the diverse array of native and international alpine flora while learning about the importance of nature conservation in mountainous areas
