This is probably my favourite cave out of the one's in Margaret River. This is a self guided tour so I was able to explore at my own pace, which I could take as many videos and photos. I also went during the school holidays but went in at around 4pm and still pretty much had it all to myself.

About: This is like a natural time capsule, filled with ancient fossil remains of Australian Megafauna. You can take a self-guided tour while listening to an informative audio guide. The cave entrance through the bushland leads to a fascinating journey through history, showcasing over 10,000 fossils, including remains of giant animals that roamed Australia thousands of years ago. Don't miss the 50,000-year-old 'zygomaturus' jawbone embedded in the cave wall! After exploring the cave, enjoy a scenic walk through the beautiful marri and karri forest surrounding Mammoth Cave for a complete nature experience.
