Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg, Austria, is a baroque masterpiece with a fascinating history. Originally built as a country residence for an archbishop's mistress and their 15 children (yep, scandalous!), it was later transformed into a stunning garden by another archbishop. The gardens are adorned with Greek and Roman statues, a fountain representing the four elements, and even a hedge theater where outdoor performances were held.
