The Monument of National Solidarity in Budapest, inaugurated in 2020 on the 100th anniversary of the Versailles Peace Treaty, commemorates Hungary's losses after WW1. The somber 100-meter-long tunnel displays the names of Hungarian villages and towns lost in the treaty. While the memorial evokes a sense of grief and loss, some may find it a bit too depressing. Despite its dark tone, the monument serves as a reminder of Hungary's history and the ongoing quest for unity and progress.
