About: When travellers first catch sight of Mount Conner from the Lasseter Highway in the Northern Territory, they might mistake it for Uluru and feel a surge of excitement. However, the disappointment sets in quickly when they realise that Mount Conner is not the iconic rock they were expecting. Standing at 300 meters above ground level and 859 meters above sea level, this imposter rock can only be reached on a specialised tour, making it one of the most underwhelming tourist attractions in Australia.
