Walking between the gorge is amazing! Such a cool hike and at the end looking back makes the hike worth it!

About: This is a 2.6 km return trail that offers a moderate, family-friendly hike through a dramatic desert landscape. The path gently ascends along a rocky track, leading hikers between two towering domes into a shaded gorge, providing a cool refuge from the desert heat. Along the way, visitors can observe rare plant species and, with some luck, spot wildlife such as wallaroos. The name "Walpa" means "wind" in the local Aṉangu language, reflecting the refreshing breezes that often flow through the gorge. The walk culminates at a viewing platform, offering a serene spot to appreciate the natural beauty and cultural significance of the area.
