Such a cool waterfall near Byron Bay, great for an adventure and a swim!

About: Killen Falls, nestled in the hinterland near Tintenbar, New South Wales, is a captivating natural attraction approximately 20 minutes' drive from Ballina and 30 minutes from Byron Bay. This 10-metre waterfall, formed by Emigrant Creek, cascades into a serene pool surrounded by remnants of the ancient Big Scrub rainforest, offering a tranquil retreat for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can embark on a 330-metre walk to a viewing platform that provides a panoramic perspective of the falls. For a more immersive experience, a steeper 1-kilometre return trail leads to the base of the falls, where one can explore the cave behind the waterfall and appreciate the lush surroundings.
