One of my favourite hikes in Australia! Spider walk along walls, through water, over rocks all to reach a small swimming hole! If you're looking for an exciting adventure, this is it!

Park Entry Fee: $17 per vehicle

About: Hancock Gorge, located in Karijini National Park in Western Australia's Pilbara region, offers one of the park's most exhilarating and adventurous hikes. This 1.5-kilometre return trail, rated Grade 5 for its difficulty, begins at the Weano Day Use Area and involves a steep descent via metal ladders into the gorge. Hikers navigate through narrow, slippery rock passages, wade through cool pools, and traverse the infamous 'Spider Walk'—a narrow section requiring careful footing along both walls—to reach the serene Kermits Pool, a tranquil, emerald-hued waterhole surrounded by towering red rock formations
