A very cool Swimming spot within the dessert of the island! A great place to cool off and relax, though the walk through the sand can be quite tough!

About: Lake Wabby, situated on K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) in Queensland, is a unique freshwater lake renowned for its striking emerald-green waters and distinctive formation. As the deepest lake on the island, reaching depths of up to 12 meters, it stands out among K'gari's numerous lakes.

You can access the lake via a moderately challenging 1.5-kilometre walk through lush rainforest and expansive sand dunes, culminating in a refreshing swim in its cool waters.
