A nice place to stop and stretch your legs if you're on the way to Monkey Mia.

About: Shell Beach in Western Australia is a unique beach located in the Shark Bay region, about 45 kilometres southeast of Denham. It stands out because it's covered in shells for a whopping 60-kilometre stretch, with depths reaching 7-10 meters. These shells belong to the cockle species Fragum erugatum, creating a limestone known as coquina. The high salinity of the seawater in the area has allowed these shells to thrive, forming a one-of-a-kind shell beach that's definitely worth a visit for any beach lover or nature enthusiast.
