Welcome to Ridgway, a true gem nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. We're known as the 'Gateway to the San Juans,' and you'll quickly see why, with stunning peaks framing our historic, Old West style town. Spend your day exploring the Ridgway Creative District, popping into unique galleries and studios, or delve into the railroad and ranching past at the local museums. For a dose of nature, Ridgway State Park is just a stone's throw away, offering beautiful trails and a massive reservoir for you to enjoy.
Insider Tips:
Ridgway State Park is beautiful! There's camping year round, water recreation and hiking. I highly recommend a visit during summer. Colorado State Park Pass required.
For food try Maven Local Eatery (American, brunch, lunch and dinner). Bella Vina for delectable Italian food. Or Thai Paradise.
If you're up for a challenging hike, try Lower Blue Lake. It's challenging and recommended for experienced hikers only. Look it up on AllTrails before going to check for trail conditions!
