Get ready for a local favorite that delivers some of the best views around Estes Park without the national park crowds. The Lily Mountain Trail is a fantastic 3.8 mile round-= trip hike that starts off gently through the forest before putting your legs to work on a steeper climb.

The real adventure begins near the top with a fun and manageable rock scramble to the summit, where you'll be rewarded with absolutely stunning 360 degree panoramas of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide. Parking is limited to small pullouts along the highway, so it's best to arrive early to snag a spot right at the trailhead.

Insider Tips:

  • Make sure to download the map off AllTrails as the scramble at the top can be hard to find.

  • Go for sunrise for an ultra special experience.

  • Dog friendly!
