• Park once and walk everywhere if you can. Downtown Manitou is tiny but insanely tight on parking, especially weekends and summer afternoons. I recommend parking on the edge and strolling the whole strip.

• Hit the Penny Arcade when it’s quieter (morning or early weekday). It’s weirdly charming and way more fun when you’re not shoulder-to-shoulder with crowds.

• Explore the side alleys and stairs off Manitou Avenue. You'll find little galleries, tucked away patios, creekside paths, and random art nooks that most people walk right past.
