Parking

The hike starts just outside the center of Svolvær. There is a designated parking lot northwest of the cemetery, where Blåtindveien makes a sharp turn. However, this lot fills up quickly, so it may be easier to park in the town center.

At the first plateau, where the terrain levels out slightly, the trail splits into two. One path leads to the right, toward Svolværgeita and the otter to Djevlporten and Fløya. The steps take to to djevelporten. Be careful to go out on the rock if it's slippery
