This beach is our personal favorite on the island! This charming small pebble beach is nestled at the base of cliffs, offering crystal-clear blue water and breathtaking views. Located within the Garajau Natural Reserve and renowned for its excellent scuba diving and snorkeling conditions, Garajau Beach attracts enthusiasts from around the world. It can be accessed either by cable car or by driving down a winding road. The road is quite narrow, so it's important to drive slowly and use your horn to alert oncoming cars. Parking at Garajau Beach is free, either at the cable car station on top or on the side of the winding road down.

The cable car operates from 10 am to 6 pm in winter and from 10 am to 8 pm in summer; you can check the schedule on the official website. A nice restaurant is conveniently located right on the beach. For a small fee of €2, you can rent a sunbed, and for €1, a parasol. Garajau Beach is a delightful spot for relaxation and adventure alike.
